AMAZON PANTRY AT YOUR RESCUE!!!

EVERYONE OF US ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE CURRENT SITUATION AT EVERY GROCERY SHOP AND

 On 24 March, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, limiting movement of the entire 1.3 billion population of India as a preventive measure against the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in India. The lockdown was placed when the number of confirmed positive coronavirus cases in India was approximately 500.

As soon as the announcement was made, people from all around the country were panicked & went out to shop groceries & other necessities that would be required for the next 21 days.

When I reached at the store, the scenario I was greeted with would be a moment to remember always. I was shocked and surprised to say the least. I have never seen this so much crowd outside a mere store, and the queue to get in was like the Great wall of china… I lost the count of people who were in front of me, all anxiously waiting for their turn.

After waiting for forever, my turn had come to enter the store, while that gave me a moment of happiness, but when I further entered the supermarket, although it was full with customers, there was hardly anything left on the shelves. All the essential food items like rice, wheat flour, vegetables, salt, milk, etc were over and I could hardly see any items in the store. It was so messed up and chaotic, people didn’t even care about social distancing.

I had to go back home disappointed & unsatisfied.

The situation started getting out of hand when the departmental stores started overflowing with customers which would mean – a greater chance for coronavirus to spread.

On my way back, I was discussing this one of my friends and he suggested me to use the Amazon pantry. While I was checking the online pantry I came across groceries where we had to select items and add up to 20 items in the boxes, this box is known as the Amazon Pantry Box which is available at RS 399. This box of happiness was delivered within 24 hours at my door step from breads to vegetables all the necessary items were provided, this brought a sigh of relief and helped me get out of the chaotic situation and I was very thankful, I really appreciate the effort they took to help us out.
